Movie Review

Name of Movie: Earth 2100

 Describe/list/ outline the main themes of the movie.  (50 words)

The movie explaining the principal environmental’s problems that is damaging to the world and it argue it problems are produced by human being, because he takes bad polytic and economic decisions. The movie shows some of this Earth’s illness such as future shortage of natural resources (water, food, fuel, etc.), increase of temperature or the extinction of many animal’s species.

I think the movie reports a problem which every people is conscious. The socio-economic and environmental harms that we (human being) are living is catastrophic. One part or the movie called my attention: the moment in that polices shoot to upset crowd that demanded foods and basic rights. I think it reality is beginning to express in every World, and it would increase if we don’t make something to respect. My perspective is negative, because the history (what we know of the history) just show to human being as a selfish being; not an altruistic being. This fact has been captured in a selfish and competitive model such as we have today, in which the multinational companies, for example, just want wealth of money, they don’t worry about workers conditions or bad consequences that they leaving in the environmental. I think that the movie’s perspective is positive, because it reports many actual problems, but it shows a alternative way for give solution to this. Nevertheless, I think that it did can have a more deep perspective, having a more impartial review about the Unated Stated goberment, because I think that imperialistic countries such as this, have many responsibility in the problems that the movie shows.

1. Seems interesting to me the consequences that will leave the water’s shortage.

 

2. The movie shows that the bad political decisions may bring big economic problems, but I insist that the movie should have a more critical posture.

 

3. Seems interesting to me the way in that the movie try to make aware about the possible damages to the environmental. There parts in the movie that has motions, because they try to explain that finally the problems exposed concern to the people’s happiness.

My vacations

I'm Leonardo, an architecture student (I am coursing 4th year). I live in Peñalolén, with my father, and  I visit my mother and brothers when I have available time. I wouldn't like a life for me dedicated completely to work, so I have some hobbies that I try to keep, such as singing, writting and playing football soccer. I´m interested in themes as philosophy and polithics, so I enjoy reading this type of books sometimes. I like simple things about life, such as eating (my favourite food are Subway's sandwichs), listening music (I do this all the time) or share with my friends. I can't understand the people that don't enjoy this things. 

The last vacation I just stayed  in Santiago. I didn't have money to travel to other cities, because I worked in an architecture office making building models during two weeks, and the money that I would have make in this job was going to be used for going out of Santiago. But the problem is that my employer still hasn't pay my money because the models that we elaborated belonged to the municipality's project, and this entity still don't pay him the model's money, so he can´t pay me. 

But i went some other places here, in Santiago. I shared whith old friends that I see a few times a year, because I don't have much free time in the academic lapse. I went to many parties too.

I was alone in my house during the vacations, most part of the time, because my father works in Antofagasta, and he comes to Santiago sometimes, in his free days. Facing that situacion I invited some friends and my girlfriend to my house, for playing some videogames, watching movies, or drinking beer.
